Jon Gruden and GM Bruce Allen had to know the writing was on the wall after a 9-3 collapse and no playoff for the Buccaneers this year. After a Super Bowl win a few years ago many people thought more would follow, but it never happen. Gruden could never find a quarterback that he like and that was one of his major problems no consistency at that spot. Other issues were also a problem for Gruden as well such as he was suppose to know offense real well, but the Buccaneers struggled in that department as well.
A few weeks back rumor was some of the players wanted to see him go so I guess that group go exactly what they wanted. it will be interesting to see who the Buccaneers hire to bring them back to where they want to be. They usually bring in a big name so it will be interesting to see who they do hire in the end.
